hey, i'm eric. i'm a berlin-based software engineer and this is maybe my website.
i used to organize for the mapbox workers union and work as an engineer at mapbox and yahoo. i'm interested in how and why things fail, the labor movement, maps, political history and cooking for my loved ones.
i'm planning to use this as a place to start collecting longer-format thoughts. for my (bad) short-format ones, see my bluesky. i'm trying to leave twitter behind me.
